Grayson Home Health’s culture is rooted in the philosophy that the patient always comes first. Staff have a passion for their work, a commitment to excellence and a willingness to work hard. “We do whatever it takes to be sure patients get the most extraordinary care possible,” said Kelly Sexton, owner. Management has created a family-like atmosphere in their office. “If I wouldn’t want to work here, why would anyone else want to?” laughs Sexton.
Expectations are high. “We treat everyone as if they’re our parent,” Debbie Burchfield, RN, said. “How would we want our parents treated or spoken to? How would we want to be treated? We live and work by that standard every day.” Sexton agrees. “We’re family, so when we go into a patient’s home, they’re family too.”
